Pre-solicitation Notice - GLFER Port Clinton Ecosystem Restoration ProjectThis is NOT a request for proposal or invitation for bid; this is for INFORMATIONAL purposes only to make industry aware of the upcoming requirement. A response is not required at this time.The USACE Buffalo District is currently preparing a Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a single award task order contract for the GLFER Port Clinton Ecosystem Restoration Project.The objective of the project is to construct an expansion of an existing Lake Erie coastal wetland for fish and wildlife habitat in the City of Port Clinton, Ohio. The work will include excavation, disposal of some excavated material, other earthwork (channeling, potholing), planting and seeding, invasive species treatment, but not limited to these.TYPE OF CONTRACT AND NAICS: The result of this RFP will be one (1) Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC). The North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) for this effort is 237990 -

Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction.This will be a Low Priced, Technically Acceptable procurement.This will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside competitive procurement.The SATOC will have a five (5) year ordering period.The ordering capacity for this SATOC is $1,500,000.A site visit will be announced when the Request for Proposal is issued.Please be advised that this requirement may be delayed, revised, or cancelled at any time before award.SOLICITATION WEBSITE: The official solicitation and any subsequent amendments or updates, when posted, will be available free of charge by electronic posting only and may be found at Federal Business Opportunities website, http://www.fbo.gov.
