NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC AND REQUEST FOR INFORMATION LAS 34489 STEVEN H PERRINS DBA THE PERRINS’ RAINY PASS LODGE LLC Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Southcentral Regional Land Office has received an application for the following: APPLICANT: STEVEN H PERRINS DBA THE PERRINS’ RAINY PASS LODGE LLC PROJECT NAME: LAS 34489 GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Located in the Alaska Range on the southeast portion of Puntilla Lake and on the northwest side of the Rainy Pass Lodge airstrip. LEGAL DESCRIPTION: SE1/4NE1/4 Section 15, Township 23 North, Range 19 West, Seward Meridian REQUESTED ACTIVITY: The Perrins' Rainy Pass Lodge is requesting a land use permit for the continued placement of two hard-sided storage buildings off the airstrip at the Rainy Pass Lodge in support of commercial lodge operations. There is one 12-foot by 25-foot wood framed building and one 16-foot by 21-foot metal building, which are used to store mainly lumber and other building materials. The buildings were previously used by nearby

mining claim operators but are now owned and used by the lodge. PROPOSED DATES OF USE: Start: May 1, 2023 End: April 30, 2028 DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: April 24, 2023 The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at the Southcentral Regional Land Office, 550 W. 7th Ave., Suite 900C, Anchorage, AK 99501-3577 on or before 5:00 PM on the date noted above.
