Local is defined as Denton and its neighboring counties. "Brick and mortar" refers to a business that maintains a physical location, where patrons can shop in-person. Vendors that might not accept Purchase Orders, but do accept credit cards, are encouraged to respond to this proposal. If you were previously awarded on RFP #2203-01 Local Retail Stores or RFP #2203-01B Local Retail Stores, there is no need to respond to this RFP. Previously awarded responses are valid through April 25 , 2023 with an option to auto-renew for four (4) one-year extensions. Awards will be made to multiple vendors on an incremental basis during the solicitation offering period. Proposers are encouraged to submit responses as soon as possible. As responses are received, or on a periodic basis, they will be opened and evaluated based on the criteria outlined within this RFP. Awards will be made throughout the open period of this solicitation upon acceptance of the proposal response. Denton ISD anticipates submitting a recommendation for the first round of awards to the Board of Trustees at the School Board meeting scheduled for April 25, 2023.
