Project: Northside Interceptor Tunnel Ref. #: 2021-033-00 Type: RFP Status: Open Open Date: Apr 20th 2023, 11:00 AM EDT Questions Due Date: May 31st 2023, 11:00 AM EDT Close Date: Jun 27th 2023, 11:00 AM EDT Days Left: < 1 Project Description:This project consists of 6,660 LF of precast-concrete-segmental-lined rock tunnel with a finished inside diameter of 16.5 feet which will receive and convey both dry and wet-weather sewage flow, and will store combined sewage, plus all related control structures, flow drop shafts, connecting sewers, and overflow structure. Other project components include 2,136 feet of 8 feet ID combined sewer installed by tunneling in soft ground conditions, one 60 feet ID by 80 feet deep tunnel diversion structure shaft with internal baffle drop, three deep baffle drop shafts, two deep plunge drop shafts, four tunnel adits, 450 LF of twin 90-inch ID overflow pipe installed in tunnel, 570 LF of 4-feet finished dewatering pipe installed by trenchless methods,

more than 850 LF of cut and cover sewers with associated manholes, control building; valve vault; demolition of existing meter buildings, sewer abandonment, utility relocations, site restoration, and other related activities.
