Recreation Facility Condition Assessment Project Description :The Town of Killam (the “Town”) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to submit proposals for RECREATION FACILITY CONDITION ASSESSMENT, Firms (the “Consultant”) are to provide professional services for the project described in the Request for Proposal (RFP) and “Project Overview” attached as Appendix “A.” The Town is seeking a service provider with the demonstrated professional expertise and applicable certifications to carry out all the activities and disciplines to perform the investigation, data analysis, and compilation of a municipal facility assessment report of the following building with in the Town of Killam: 1. Killam Agriplex (which houses an aquatic center, concession, multi-use room, fitness center, and indoor playground.) 2. Killam Memorial Arena The work will be started in the first quarter of 2024 and completed by the end of the first quarter 2024 with a final report presented by no later the end of April 2024. The desired outcome is for the report to clearly identify, prioritize maintenance, and capital expenditures of each facility as a Facility Condition Index. These assessments should include a complete facility condition audit, lifecycle plans, repairs/maintenance prioritization, and capital renewal requirements over immediate, short, and long terms. The report or index should establish an immediate, short- and long-term asset management plan in order to ensure the Towns infrastructure is sustained in a manner that meets the present and future growth needs through the detailed cost-benefit/deferral risk analysis for each
