Sealed bids will be received by the Alliance City Auditor, 504 East Main Street, Alliance, Ohio 44601, until 11:30 a.m. local time on Friday, September 20, 2019 for furnishing materials for various departments in the City of Alliance for the year ending December 31, 2020. At 12:00 noon on September 20, 2019, the bids will be opened and publicly read at the City Administration Building, 2nd floor Conference Room, 504 East Main Street for: Aluminum Sulfate, Liquid Caustic Soda, Liquid Chlorine Powdered Activated Carbon Hydrofluosilicic Acid Ferric Chloride Sodium Chlorite, Liquid Sodium Bisulfite (NaHSO3) Slag & Granulate Slag Diesel Fuel Unleaded Gasoline Radio Repair Service Road Oil Asphalt Concrete Phosphoric Acid Ammonium Sulfate, Crystals Biosolids Trucking & Landfill Brass Goods Cast Iron Pipes Fire Hydrants Valves Plastic Pipe and Fittings Manhole Castings Water Meters Catch Basin Castings Limestone Gravel Portland Cement Concrete Washing Police Vehicles Liquid Asphalt Asphalt Emulsion Hydrogen Peroxide Mowing Specifications for the various materials and proposal forms are available at the Office of the Director of Public Safety & Service, 504 East Main Street, Alliance, Ohio 44601, by calling 330-821-3110, by calling individual city departments, or see related documents on this bid posting. Each bid must be made on the form provided and must contain the names and addresses and e-mails of all parties interested. As a security, if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and a performance bond in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), made payable to the City of Alliance will be required.
