Mallard Creek WRF Improvements Phase I (Bid Packages 15.25 and 15.30)

Description: BIDS FOR THE BELOW PACKAGES WILL BE RECEIVED FROM PREQUALIFIED BIDDERS ONLY. PC/Leeper Joint Venture has been selected by Charlotte Water as the construction manager for the Mallard Creek Water Reclamation Facility Phase 1 Improvements project in Charlotte, North Carolina. This project includes process air and liquid and solids process train improvements that will allow the facility to expand from its current 12-mgd capacity to 14.9 mgd. Liquid process train improvements include a new influent pumping station, new flow equalization facilities, new alkalinity storage and feed facilities, and plant drain piping improvements for centrate equalization. Work to the solids process train includes modifications to the solids handling building, including new process equipment, and supporting electrical and controls systems. PC/Leeper will work with engineers Brown and Caldwell and CDM Smith on this project. Construction is expected to begin in late 2022 with completion scheduled for January 2027.
