The Douglasville – Douglas County Water & Sewer Authority (hereafter referred to as the “Authority”) is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for the performance of the Oakwood Drive Stormwater Improvement Project (the “Project”), as more fully described in the Invitation for Bids. The scope of work includes the provision by the Contractor of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies necessary to complete the work. The Project will be “turn key” and require minimal involvement of Authority personnel.

The work to be performed shall include but is not limited to the abandonment of approximately 145 linear feet (LF) of 24” CMP with flowable fill, removal of approximately 68 (LF) of 24” CMP and an existing tree, relocation of one water meter, and removal and replacement of two catch basins, an existing fence line, a concrete driveway, curb, and asphalt pavement. The Project will also include the installation of approximately 192 LF of 24” RCP, a ¾” water service line, and a temporary parking area. The work will be installed by open cut methods as required and shown on the plans and specifications for the Oakwood Drive Stormwater Improvement Project, prepared by Rindt-McDuff Associates, Inc., Brian Hart, P.E., dated January 2, 2020.
