Scope of Work The City of Kissimmee invites qualified firms to submit a Statement of Qualifications to provide Continuing Geotechnical Engineering Services for assistance in the processing of City construction projects. The services required include, but are not limited to: determining if the bearing capacity and other soil characteristics are suitable to construct the propose roadway and associated structures, exploring the soil stratigraphy in the retention areas, provide the results of the soil permeability test and estimating the normal seasonal high groundwater table at the boring locations. The Continuing Contracts to be entered into between the City and the successful Proposers will be non-exclusive, and the City shall have the right to award any portion of the work covered by this Advertisement to one or more firms and/or individuals. The initial contract period will be for two (2) years with three (3) optional one year extensions. A minimum of three (3) contracts will be awarded.
