The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to procure salvage services to maintain and augment the Navy's technical, operational, and emergency support capabilities for marine salvage. The services include the salvage of ships, craft, cargo and other items as tasked, (e.g., aircraft, weaponry, and equipment), salvage-related towing, harbor clearance, point-to-point towing, and ocean engineering projects within three geographical areas, East Coast (zone A), West Coast (zone B), and Western Pacific (zone C).NAVSEA intends to solicit this subject requirement as a full-and-open competition. Up to three contracts will be awarded to execute the Supervisor of Salvage and Diving (SUPSALV) worldwide salvage response missions. The contract(s) will be awarded as single award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-award-fee type contract(s). The contemplated contract(s) will be for a period of five years to include five one-year ordering periods.It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available by March 2023.
