Award Notice High Brightness (HB) Color Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) Microdisplay and Manufacturing Process Technologies Prototype Project

A final Request for Solutions (RFS) was released on 18 November 2021 andposted on SAM.gov. Solution papers were received from 3 vendors by 2 February 2022As a result of the competition, the prototype project was awarded to eMagin Corporation.Other Transaction Authority; The vendor shall develop pilot High Brightness (HB) Color Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) Microdisplays mask prototype(s) that will bolster the capability and resilience of the U.S industrial and manufacturing bases and qualified sources of supply for the HB Color OLED Microdisplays by maximizing US supply chain solutions.It is anticipated that upon successful completion of the prototype, a follow-on production OT agreement(s) or FAR based contract(s) may be issued to the vendor(s) without the use of competitive procedures. Successful completion will occur when the prototype has been validated and is accepted by the Government.  Successful completion will be defined in the negotiated Statement of Work (SOW) for this prototype project.Note: Should the selected vendor fail to demonstrate progress or be unsuccessful in the accomplishment of the goals of this prototyping effort, the Government reserves the right to return to the results of this competition and award additional Other Transaction Agreements to one or more of the vendors that responded to the initial Request for Solutions, as appropriate within the scope and evaluated results of the
