DUAL COATED GLASS BEADS FOR TRAFFIC MARKING PAINT 2024 / 2025

SCOPEThis Estimated Quantity Contract is for the supply and delivery of dual-coated glass beads to the New Brunswick Department of Transportation, the Nova Scotia Public Works, the Halifax Regional Municipality, City of Saint John, City of Fredericton, City of Moncton, Village De Dieppe. This contract shall be in effect from April 8, 2024 to April 7, 2025 with the option to extend for one (1) additional year, if mutually agreed to by N.B.D.T.I. and N.S.D.T.I. and the successful bidder. This option must be exercised no later than January 11, 2025. If not mutually agreed by this date, the option for a second year is withdrawn. AWARD CRITERIA AND PRICINGThe contract will be awarded to the vendor submitting the lowest Unit Price Bid for Dual-Coated Glass Beads--to include shipping and delivery --which meets all requirements detailed within the Specification attached to this Invitation to Tender. Vendors must bid upon ALL Items to be considered for contract award. Partial bids will NOT be

accepted. The 'Unit Price Including Discount' and 'Extended Price' should NOT include taxes. A 'Total Including All Charges' should be detailed. Provide your Price per Kilogram for each individual item directly on the Invitation to Tender Form under the "Unit Price Including Discount" column. SUBMITTALSThe Supplier shall submit with the tender, certification that materials to be supplied meet the requirements of this specification. In particular, the submittal shall state clearly that the adhesion coating is silane based and meets the tender specification requirements for limitations on heavy metal content.
