Typical tasks that the County may seek services are as follows to include, but not be limited to: Reviewing and monitoring of construction and development projects for compliance with applicable tree protection and landscape codes and policies. Reviewing landscape and tree protection plan applications, ongoing assessment of unincorporated Amelia Island tree canopy health and other issues pertaining to tree protection, landscape design and arboriculture. Reviewing landscape and tree protection plans to ensure compliance with County codes and standards. Reviewing and responding to internal and external requests for tree maintenance and tree removals. Assessing soil and space requirements for new trees. Identifying and treating diseased trees. Conducting onsite inspections to ensure tree protection barricades and/or landscaping are in compliance with County codes and standards.
