Cerner has notified UMC this system will sunset 12/31/2024. These systems currently have 7 years of prescription data in a central database. Our objective is to select a system that can meet our requirements to be able to fill prescriptions transmitting pharmacy claims using several different pricing sources for pharmacy purchases. The sources are

WAC, 340B, Manufacture Assistance Program, and will in the future include Medicare price negotiated. The system has to include point of sell software. The conversion of current data into the new system must be two years of active prescription data with the ability to access all prior years’ data for audit and legal reporting purposes. The system must meet all Texas State Board of Pharmacy and DEA requirement for Class A Pharmacy Licenses. The system must be able to handle prescription record storage for current volume plus 50% for 10 years. The system must have a recovery capability of all data to operational status within 4 hours of the system going down.
