Design/Build of the Belau National Hospital (BNH) Oxygen Plant Improvement Project

NEWSPAPER Ad REPUBLIC OF PALAU BUREAU OF PUBLIC WORKS FIFTEEN DAYS PUBLIC NOTICE AND REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS/PROPOSALS 2024-RFP-ROP-006 Notice is hereby given that the Director of the Bureau of Public Works will be soliciting sealed proposals from interested Contractors, through the Capital Improvement Program Division (CIP) in Koror for the Design/Build of the BELAU NATIONAL HOSPITAL (BNH) OXYGEN PLANT IMPROVEMENT PROJECT. Statement of Qualifications and Project Cost Proposals will be accepted until 4:00 P.M. on April 12, 2024 at the CIP Office, BPW Building, Medalaii, Koror State. All proposals received will be reviewed and evaluated by authorized government personnel. Project Proposals shall be opened and used only by government personnel authorized to participate in the evaluation process until after the conclusion of negotiations and contract award to a contractor. A Project Information Conference will be held at the BPW Conference Room at 10:00 A.M. on March 13, 2024. The

detailed scope of the project will be handed over to prospective Offerors/Bidders at the start of the Project Information Conference. This project is funded by ROP Local Fund and is procured through a Competitively Negotiated Contract scheme as allowed under the Procurement Law. The government reserves the right to reject any or all proposals for any reason and to waive any defects in said bids if in its opinion would be in its best interest to do so. Attendance to the Project Information Conference and Site Visit is mandatory for this project. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, a cashiers check or bidders bond made payable to the National Treasury of the Republic of Palau in the sum of ten percent (10%) of the aggregate proposal. The project will require 100% performance and payment bonds from the winning bidders.
