The State of Utah - Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) is requesting submittals for consultant services on the following project: FREMONT INDIAN MUSEUM REMODEL DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES- DIVISION OF STATE PARKS SEVIER, UT DFCM PROJECT # 25030510 Project Description: Fremont Indian State Park and Museum is a state park of Utah, which interprets archaeological remains of the Fremont culture. The park is located in Sevier County, Utah in the Clear Creek Canyon. The park was established to preserve archaeological discoveries at the site, telling the stories of a large Fremont Indian settlement. The park protects, preserves and interprets moveable heritage objects, stored within its collection and museum as well as outdoor immovable heritage including rock art pictographs. All these aspects of the site are accessible to visitors via paved walkways and indoor exhibitions. This project is to bring a completely new refresh/update to the existing building/museum. The building is approximately 8,000 SF with the museum space making up about 2,500 SF. The project will consist of all new lighting, painting, flooring, door hardware throughout the building, including updating the restrooms. There will be new cabinetry at the point of sale and merchandise area. Complete redesign of the Museum space, including new museum exhibits, graphics etc. Construction Budget: $2,100,000 The selection shall be under the Value Based Selection method.
