Procurement Exception for Cath Lab Consumables Project Description :Notice of Intent to Direct Award Issued: July 22, 2023 File # PHSA 11671 NOI Title: Procurement Exception for Cath Lab Consumables Provincial Health Services Authority Notice is hereby given that Provincial Health Services Authority (“ PHSA”) on its own behalf and as an agent for each of, Fraser Health Authority, Interior Health Authority, Northern Health Authority, Vancouver Coastal Health Authority and Vancouver Island Health Authority (the “ Health Authorities”), intends to directly award a Contract to the following supplier to provide Cath lab consumables for an initial term of two (2) years and six (6) months with two (2) one (1) year options at an estimated value of $ 5M CAD. Cordis US Corp. (for distribution via Medline) 14201 Northwest 60th Ave. Miami Lakes, FL 33014 PHSA is unable to award the contract for Cordis products under the recently conducted competitive procurement because of a change of distributor and therefore, PHSA, as agent for the Health Authorities has chosen to directly award the above non-volume committed contract to ensure the continued supply of these essential products to the Health Authorities with stable pricing.
