Chief Joseph Dam Spillway Monolith Sealing

Contract Title: Chief Joseph Dam Spillway Monolith Sealing, Bridgeport, WA.The work includes drilling and installation of six water stops and incidental related work. In general, the contractor shall complete precision angle drilling within precise tolerances to inject a hydrophilic sealant into the upstream spillway monoliths at fourlocations in the overflow section and one location on the non-overflow section. Four water stops are located at spillway monoliths joints 11/12, 15/16, 17/18, and 18/19 and shall be installed from the ogee. Drilling from the spillway roadway is not allowed.The spillway ogee crest is at elevation 901.5 feet (NGVD29). Normal reservoir elevations range from 950 to 956 feet (NGVD29). Work on the spillway ogee will require special construction access and a drilling platform. All work on the spillway willoccur in non-spill season.  One water stop is located at a non-overflow monolith joint 27/28. One water stop islocated at a closure monolith joint C2/3.  All work at the non-overflow and closure monoliths shall be completed from theroadway and during spill
