Terminal 5 Landside & Parking Improvements - Bid Package 5 - Trade Package 13 - Electrical - Notice of Bid Opportunity
DESCRIPTION OF BID SCOPE OF WORK
The project scope of work includes construction of a six (6) level, cast-in-place, post tension parking structure supported by two (2) helical ramps at the ends of the garage for movement between levels. The parking garage will accommodate approximately 1700 vehicles with an additional 700 vehicles in surface parking. The project will include two (2) vehicular bridges, curbside expansion access and modifications to the I-190 on-ramp. Trade Package 13 Electrical includes all work associated with the electrical system installation for the garage. This work generally includes, but is not limited to, all equipment (switchgear, panels, conduit, gensets, lighting fixtures), cabling, COMED infrastructure, underground ductbanks and lighting system. This work additionally includes specialty systems such as vehicle charging stations, safety and security system, communication system, parking control equipment and automated parking vehicle guidance system. Delegated design is required for all hangars and supports and the automated parking vehicle guidance system.
