Moog SmartCart Load/Hold Upgrade

NASA/Armstrong Flight Research Center (NASA/AFRC) has a requirement to purchase and install a Moog SmartCart Load/Hold Upgrade for AFRC’s 80-channel MOOG Hydraulic Load Control System (HLCS).  The requirement is in support of AFRC’s Flight Loads Laboratory (FLL).  The system upgrade is called a Load/Hold system and it will help AFRC test personnel control the removal of load's during a dump event by using the stored energy in the aircraft structure, thus protecting the structure from damage.NASA/AFRC intends to issue a sole source contract to acquire these upgrades from Moog Inc.
