Scope:The Contractor shall provide all personnel, transportation, supervision, quality control, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform services as defined in this PWS, except for those items specified as government furnished.  The Contractor shall perform to the standards of this contract.  Directorate of Production Engineering has requested Additive Manufacturing Technologies and Processes training.Requirments:5.1  The contractor shall provide training on Additive Manufacturing Technologies and Processes.5.2  The Additive Manufacturing Technologies training shall be categorized into 5 separate courses identified as:High Velocity Oxygen Fuel (HVOF)Cold Spray (CS)Laser Additive Manufacturing (LAM)Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM)Blue Light 3D Scan Technology (BLT)5.2.1 The contractor shall conduct training on the topic of HVOF.  At a minimum, HVOF training shall include the following six terminal learning objectives (LO). More objectives may be added as
required.5.2.2  LO #1: The student shall be able to explain and conduct a safety audit of HVOF process and machinery.5.2.3  LO #2: The student shall be able to explain and identify the major parts of HVOF machine.5.2.4  LO #3: The student shall be able to explain the required steps to setup a part and HVOF machine for processing. 5.2.5  LO #4: The student shall be able to explain and use troubleshooting techniques to correct malfunctions in the HVOF process.5.2.6  LO #5: The student shall be able to explain the HVOF spraying process.5.2.7  LO #6: The student shall be able to determine documentation necessary to safely operate HVOF program in accordance with the accepted industry standard.5.2.8  The course should explain the advantages and disadvantages of HVOF.5.2.9  The contractor shall conduct training on the topic of CS.  At a minimum, CS training shall include the following six terminal learning objectives.  More objectives may be added as required.5.2.10  LO #1: The student shall be able to explain and conduct a safety audit of the CS process and machinery.5.2.11  LO #2: The student shall be able to explain and identify the major parts of a CS machine.5.2.12  LO #3: The student shall be able to explain the steps necessary to preparing a part and a CS machine for processing.5.2.13  LO #4: The student shall be able to explain and use troubleshooting techniques to correct malfunctions in the CS process.5.2.14  LO #5: The student shall be able to explain the CS spraying process.5.2.15  LO #6: The student shall be able to determine the documentation necessary to safely operate a CS program in accordance with accepted industry standard.5.2.16  The course should explain the advantages and disadvantages of CS.5.2.17  The contractor shall conduct training on the topic of LAM.  At a minimum, LAM training shall include the following five terminal learning objectives.  More objectives may be added as required.5.2.18  LO #1: The student shall be able to explain and conduct a safety audit of the LAM process and machinery.5.2.19  LO #2: The student shall be able to explain the benefits of LAM.5.2.20  LO #3: The student shall be able to explain how LAM may be applied within the manufacturing industry.5.2.21  LO #4: The student shall be able to describe the different types of materials applied in LAM. 5.2.22  LO #5: The student shall be able to describe the LAM process.5.2.23  The course should explain the advantages and disadvantages of LAM.5.2.24  The contractor shall provide training on the topic of FDM.5.2.25  The contractor shall conduct training on the topic of FDM.  At a minimum, LAM training shall include the following five terminal learning objectives.  More objectives may be added as required.5.2.26 LO#1: The student shall be able to explain and conduct a safety audit of the FDM process and machinery.5.2.27  LO#2: The student shall be able to explain the different types of FDM materials available.5.2.28  LO#3: The student shall be able to explain and troubleshoot malfunctions related to FDM machinery, processes, and materials.5.2.29  LO#4: The student shall be able to understand best practices and recognize limitations of the FDM process.5.2.30  LO#5: The student shall be able to explain how to apply FDM in the manufacturing industry.5.2.31  The course should explain the advantages and disadvantages of FDM.5.2.32  The contractor shall provide training on BLT.  At a minimum, BLT training shall include the following four terminal learning objectives.  More objectives may be added as required.5.2.33  LO#1: The student shall be able to explain and conduct a safety audit of the BLT process and machinery.5.2.34  LO#2: The student shall be able to explain the functionality of BLT.5.2.35  LO#3: The student shall be able to explain how BLT can be applied to manufacturing.5.2.36  LO#4: The student shall become familiar with the different types of equipment that utilize BLT.5.2.37  The course should explain the advantages and disadvantages of BLT.5.3  All training conducted shall align with aerospace industry standards, processes, procedures, and techniques where applicable.5.4  The course shall consist at a minimum of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises.5.5  The training courses shall be available for presentation at the Corpus Christi Army Depot, a venue found and reserved by the vendor in the local area, the contractor’s facility, or with instructor-led, online live training depending on the Government’s needs per class.5.6  The contractor shall conduct training sessions for up to three students.5.7  Courses shall be no more than 16 hours in length.5.8  Upon request, the contractor shall provide one or more of the training courses within 90 days of the date of request.5.9  The contractor shall be capable of providing up to five training sessions of any combination of the aforementioned training topics per period of performance.5.10  The contractor shall conduct a 25 question written pre-test, pre-test results shall be given to the course manager.5.11  The contractor shall conduct a 25 question written post-test, post-test results shall be given to the course manager.5.12   The contractor shall provide a certificate of completion. The certificates of completion shall be given to the students upon successful completion of the training.  At a minimum, the certificate of completion shall consist of course title, course number if applicable, course hours, student name, and the contractor’s name.5.13  The instructor shall write and distribute an end of course survey that shall address student performance, comprehension, attitude toward learning, and behavior. This will occur at the conclusion of each session. This after training summary shall be given to the course manager.
