This is being sole sourced because the AFM ishighly specialized with proprietary components provided by the original equipment manufacturer,Bruker Nano, Inc. and service cannot be performed by an outside entity without the risk ofirreversible damage. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall beconsidered by the agency. However, a

determination by the Government not to compete with thisproposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of theGovernment. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose ofdetermining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
