existing 47.19 m in length with 1390 mm x 970 mm diameter CSPA cross culvert on Kennedy Road, 153 m north of YMCA BoulevardBidders are advised that the Work will be performed during the 2023 construction season. MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: 1. Certificate of Recognition (COR TM) Safety Program The Region has implemented the Certificate of Recognition ( COR TM) safety program, endorsed by the Infrastructure Health and Safety Association ( IHSA), as a requirement on Regional construction projects. The Region will only accept Bids from Bidders who:are COR TM certified;have obtained a Letter of COR TM Equivalency issued by the IHSA (COR TM Equivalency); orhave obtained a valid Letter of Reciprocity issued by the IHSA, indicating that they are in the process of obtaining COR TM Equivalency. A copy of the valid Letter of Reciprocity must be submitted with the Bid.Any Bids received from Bidders who are not COR TM certified, who have not obtained COR TM Equivalency or who have not submitted a valid Letter of Reciprocity shall be rejected from further consideration.For further details about COR TM including the certification process and fees, please contact the Centre for Health and Safety Innovation at 1-800-263-5024 or visit their website at www.ihsa.ca/cor. 2. Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks (“MECP”) Approval DocumentsMECP Approval Document for Receiving Solid Non-Hazardous Waste As part of their Bids, Bidders shall submit a copy of the Environmental Approval Document issued by the MECP for the waste disposal site or waste transfer station proposed to receive solid non-hazardous waste materials, in the form of a/an: Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA); orCertificate of Approval (C of A).See Schedule D for more information. Failure to submit a copy of the required documentation shall result in rejection of the Bid.MECP Approval Document for Hauling Solid Non-Hazardous WasteAs part of their Bids, Bidders shall submit a copy of the Environmental Approval Document issued by the MECP to haul solid non-hazardous waste materials, in the form of a/an:Environmental Activity and Sector Registry (EASR);Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA); orCertificate of Approval (C of A).See Schedule E for more information.
