IN THE EVENT THE GOVERNMENT CANCELS THIS SOLICITATION, THE GOVERNMENT HAS NO OBLIGATION TO REIMBURSE AN OFFEROR FOR ANY COSTS.In accordance with (IAW) FAR 5.2, the Government hereby publicizes a Notice of Proposed Contract Action for the Repair Consolidate Base Support Center Facility solicitation FA440717R0005.The 375th Contracting Squadron at Scott Air Force Base, IL 62225 intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the upcoming requirement.The project includes a total interior renovation and upgrading of the 44,500 square feet Consolidated Support Center Facility to provide better customer service and improve the administrative work

areas. This includes upgrading HVAC, electrical, communication, plumbing, fire alarm/mass notification, and the addition of fire protection systems. The interior renovation of the building will require the relocation of existing users to areas indicated on the phasing plans as described in project documents. The completed project shall result in a complete and usable facility which meets all applicable codes and standards.In accordance with FAR 4.1102 and FAR 52.204-7, entitled "System for Award Management", Prospective contractor shall be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract. Registration requires offerors to have a DUNS number. Recommend registering immediately at https://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for a timely award.The magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.This solicitation will be a Total Small Business Set-Aside under the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 236220. The small business size standard for the subject NAICS is $36,500,000.The formal solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website under solicitation number, FA440717R0005. The Government intends to issue the formal Consolidated Base Support Center solicitation on or about 26 July 2017.A draft copy of project documents including Volume 1 Project Manual, Volume 2 Project Manual, and the 100% Combined Drawings will be made available in AMRDEC SAFE.
