Road Construction IDIQ

The US Forest Service has a requirement for Road Construction Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) on the Savannah River Site located 10 miles east of Aiken, South Carolina.  The Savannah River Site is a restricted government site under the control of the Department Of Energy. This requirement is a 100%  Total Small Business Set Aside.   The requirement will be for a one (1) year base period with four (4) one year options.  The Maximum amount to be awarded over the life of the contract is $5,000,000.00 per awardee. The guaranteed minimum is $25,000.00 over the life of the contract to each awardee.  The Government plans to award two Firm Fixed Priced contracts. Work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not inclusive of, constructing new roads or repairing existing roads; ditch construction; bridge removal and construction; and soil and berm construction and restoration.  The solicitation will be available on this site on or about 28 Feb 2020.  A preproposal

site visit is scheduled for 3 March at 9:30 AM.  The Savannah River Site is a Department of Energy Secured Site.  Visitors must obtain a site pass to gain access.Contractors interested in attending the preproposal site visit must contact Raven Woodard via email Raven.Woodard@usda.gov.  You must contact Raven no later than Thursday 27 Feb 2020 at 12:00 PM EST to allow the visitor’s pass to be processed.
