Standard menus are developed at the system-wide management level with coordinating preparation guidelines, to accommodate accurate and consistent religious meal service at all of the State of Minnesota prison sites. Menus are revised seasonally twice per year and have a male version and a female version. Additionally, special religious menus are needed for state holidays, religious holidays, medical diets and other non-routine food service meals. The kosher meal program requires an annual statement of rabbinical
