Quote is to obtain a cost for driveway culvert cleaning throughout the "B" section in the city of Palm Coast. This area includes approximately 5,500 single-family or duplex style residences in the area North of Palm Coast Parkway, East of US1, South of Matanzas Woods Parkway, and West of I95. The majority of these homes have a single driveway with an approximate 20ft CMP or ACMP driveway culvert, however other dimensions, materials, quantities, and double or triple driveways may exist per residence. Scope of work will include cleaning out each driveway culvert using a vaccum truck with rodder hose, or similar means of thoroughly cleaning the culvert of all sedimentation and debris. The cleaning process may also include removing 1-2ft of dirt and sod on either side of the culvert entry and exit in order to provide a clean line of sight for inspection and/or flow of water into the adjacent swales. All sediment, debris, and excess water accumulated during the cleaning process must be removed and disposed of. Driveway culverts that are already 100% clear of sedimentation and debris upon visual inspection may be omitted from the cleaning process. Contractor must inform city staff of any driveway culverts that are not able to be cleaned due to pipe failure, physical obstruction, or any other form of impediment. The city can provide a disposal site, within city limits, for dewatering and sediment. Any other debris must be disposed of by the contractor at their expense. Contractor will be responsible for providing all water, resources, and materials to complete the cleaning process. Quotes should include the total cost for the project as well as an estimated timetable for completion. With respect to City purchasing policy any quotes received may be utilized for future budget consideration if necessary. Completing a site visit before submitting a quote is highly recommended but not
