The storage solution must support small form factor and large form factor hard drives, fiber channel, redundant storage controllers, redundant power supplies and fans. The storage solution must be capable of replication with an HPE Modular SAN Array (MSA) storage installed in NCTD'S production environment. Other required features are virtualized snapshot technology that can be used for data protection and instant recovery and automated application tiering. It must be capable of non-disruptive on-line controller code upgrade to minimize required maintenance windows. Redundant Array of Independent Drives (RAID) levels 1, 10, 5, and 6 must be supported by the storage solution to protect the District’s data. The minimum raw capacity must be at least 250 TB of storage. Please see Section 01: Scope of Work for more information.
