The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), Federal Correctional Institution located at 27072 SW Ballston Road inSheridan, Oregon intends to make a single award to a responsible commercial elevator company for theprovision of upgrading FCI Sheridan elevator control hardware, electronic control systems located at 27072SW Ballston Rd, Sheridan, Oregon 97378. All manufacturers’ recommendations will be required to beimplemented.All equipment specified in this statement must be brand name or an equal product. Should your firm choose tosubmit an equal product, you must submit all technical specification of the equal product to be analyzed and atechnical determination issued with acceptance/non-acceptanceThe current elevator and controls were installed in 1997 and are displaying intermittent problems with calls forservice. The system is obsolete and if the Prom Card fails, the elevator will be inoperable as new cards areunavailable. It has become increasingly difficult to find vendors to provide service when required.A contractor will install new control boards and associated panels in the elevator car and elevator controlroom. PPE and consumables will be required for this project.
