The Town of Chapel Hill requests proposals from firms or teams qualified to complete multiple planning projects that will enhance the community through both long-term development and sustainable transportation opportunities. The two projects discussed in this RFP have some shared deliverables, and other project-specific deliverables that will rely on the shared information and input.

The
Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) Planning project will establish principles for development and urban design
that will enhance ridership in an emerging Bus Rapid Transit corridor.
The
Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) Visioning project will determine a physical vision and set of community values that can be translated into new development regulations for Chapel Hill.
Proposals are due by 5:00 P.M. on October 15, 2021. Please email your Firm’s or Team’s Proposal to Zakia Alam, Purchasing and Contracts Manager, Business Management Department, at
