Bid #TRN2124157P1 - Architectural & Engineering Professional Svcs for Transit Infrastructure (DBE) RFP Bid contact: Please log in to view Bid contact information Issuing agency: Broward County Board of County Commissioners, FL See other Bids by this agency Bid Comments: Scope of Work: Broward County Transportation Department (BCT) is seeking a qualified consulting firm to provide the relevant, comprehensive professional architectural and engineering services on a continuing term basis for remodeling, renovations, new construction, and other miscellaneous professional services at various countywide locations. Goal Participation: This solicitation includes participation goals for Broward County certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE). Refer to Special Instructions and the Office of Economic and Small Business Development Requirements section for additional information on specific forms. Florida Statute: Pursuant to Section 287.055, Florida Statutes (“CCNA”), price will not be
considered in the final evaluation and ranking of firms. Agreement is anticipated to be negotiated based on a maximum not-to-exceed, based on the County’s best interest. Federal Transit Administration Requirements: The successful Prime Vendor is required to complete Exhibits 1A or 2, 1B, 5, 7A, 7B, and 11 as part of the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Funding Supplement Requirements and must upload and submit at the time of submittal in order to be responsive and responsible to the solicitation requirements. Refer to Special Instructions for additional information on specific forms. License Requirements: In order to be considered a responsible vendor for the Scope of Work set forth in this solicitation, the Vendor must possess the specified license at the time of submittal (Refer to Special Instructions for requirements). Conflict of Interest: Recommendations provided by the successful Vendor could result in subsequent procurements by the County for future implementation. To avoid any actual or appearance of conflict, the successful Vendor (and any subconsultants used by Vendor) will not be eligible to compete for such future services for the County (either as prime or subconsultant) resulting directly from the work performed by the Vendor’s team related to the scope of services for this solicitation. This prohibition will not apply to services or any other work unrelated to the scope of services of this solicitation. The County reserves the right to review for any other potential conflicts on a case by case basis. Conflicts cannot be identified without a specific identified deliverable that will result in a subsequent scope of work. Additionally, a fact specific scenario would need to be evaluated at the time of preparing a prospective solicitation in order to determine if a conflict exists. Questions and Answers: The County provides a specified time for Vendors to ask questions and seek clarification regarding the requirements of the solicitation. All questions or clarification inquiries must be submitted through Periscope S2G by the date and time referenced in the solicitation document (including any addenda). The County will respond to all questions via Periscope S2G. Submittal Instructions: Vendor MUST submit its solicitation response electronically and MUST confirm its submittal in order for the County to receive a valid response through Periscope S2G. Refer to the Purchasing Division website or contact Periscope S2G for submittal instructions. It is the Vendors sole responsibility to assure its response is submitted and received through Periscope S2G by the date and time specified in the solicitation. The County will not consider solicitation responses received by other means. Vendors are encouraged to submit their responses in advance of the due date and time specified in the solicitation document. In the event that the Vendor is having difficulty submitting the solicitation document through Periscope S2G, immediately notify the Purchasing Agent and then contact Periscope S2G for technical assistance.
