Statement of Work: Selected Supplier will be responsible for the demo of existing Fire Alarm System, the Design and install of a new Fire Alarm System. This is a Turnkey project. Additional Information: • Woodburn Hall is a general-purpose academic building. The original section of the building was constructed in 1876. It is the heart of the historical section of campus at 1515 University Avenue. • The building has 4 stories and a gross area of 56,000 SF. Pictures of the existing fire alarm systems are included as an attachment. NOTE: Required Completed Documentation must be submitted under SUPPLIER ATTACHMENTS with Response (Purchasing Affidavit, drug-free affidavit, etc.). PROJECTED COMENCEMENT: May 20, 2024 SUBSTANTIAL AND FINAL COMPLETION - The Contractor shall achieve Substantial and Final Completion of the entire Work as calculated or indicated below. The date of issuance of the West Virginia University's Notice to Proceed and/or Contact shall be used to calculate Substantial and Final Completion if contract time stated below is in number of calendar days. Substantial Completion shall be July 26, 2024 Final Completion shall be August 26, 2024. Final Completion is considered when project site is de-mobilized and all project documents listed in Close-Out section of the specifications has been sent to the owner. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES - The Contractor shall achieve Substantial and Final Completion of the entire Work as calculated or indicated above. The date of issuance of the West Virginia University's Notice to Proceed or Executed Agreement shall be used to calculate Substantial and Final Completion of contract time stated in number of consecutive calendar days or established date. Time is of the essence. Liquidated Damages shall be Five hundred Dollars ($500) per Calendar Day of delay in achieving Substantial Completion and Two Thousand, Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($250) per Calendar Day of delay in achieving Final Completion.
