Electronic submission is the preferred method. The City of Brentwood reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, to waive any irregularities or informalities in a bid, and to accept any bid, which, in its opinion, may be for the best interest of the City.BackgroundThe City
of Brentwood seeks bids to perform our right-of-way mowing and trimming services. This work is mostly rights-of-way along main roads throughout the city, but also includes some rough cut mowing and various Water Department pumping facilities. The selected contractor shall have the staff and equipment necessary to perform high quality finish mowing, trimming, and litter collection on a biweekly frequency. This mowing is highly visible, along very busy and often congested roads and the city has very high expectations for the appearance of this work. Each work area shall be cleaned of all litter immediately prior to each mowing, full trimming of all hard edges and around all appurtenances is required each time, full clean up of grass clippings is also required. Contractor staff shall present a professional appearance and take extreme care in working around these roadways, in a safe and efficient manner. Any clumps of discharged grass clippings shall be collected and removed or carefully dispersed, additionally any damages caused by mowing equipment shall be repaired to the City's expectation, all repair costs are incidental to the costs for mowing.
