ASA BAR LIST

aSa Bar List is a rebar detailing software used to create formal, sorted, weighted, and accumulated bar lists; bar bend schedules and placing lists with field instruction.The Federal Lands Highway Office of Bridges and Structures currently isusing Bentley’s Geopak Rebar detailing software.  The software is no longer a supportedsoftware by Bentley and is not compatible with the Windows 10 update.  Additionally, thesoftware feature may soon be disabled.  ASA Bar list is the only off‐the‐shelf simplistic softwarecompatible with ongoing projects at the Federal Lands divisions that will have minimal impacton current production.  The software has been used previously on older projects and based onthe office’s past use, the software’s learning curve is minimal.  Other software will requiredetailing in 3‐dimension which will require substantial additional PE hours to projects, and is notpractical for the typical rehabilitation projects that are designed in‐house.  With Bentley’sGeopak Rebar going down very soon, this could stop production which will result in substantialproject delays.  The purchase of this software will arrest any lack of tools for our designers andkeep bridge design activities on‐going on projects.ALL RESPONSIBLE SOURCES MAY SUBMIT A QUOTATION WHICH, IF RECEIVED TIMELY, WITHIN 15 DAYS OF THE POSTED DATE, SHALL BE CONSIDERED BY THE AGENCY.***PROVISION 52.204-26 REQUIRES THAT OFFERORS REVIEW SAM PRIOR TO COMPLETING THEIR REQUIRED REPRESENTATIONS.  OFFERORS SHALL CONSULT SAM TO VALIDATE WHETHER THE PRODUCTS THEY ARE OFFERING ARE FROM AN ENTITY COVERED UNDER THE DEFINITION OF "COVERED TELECOMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT OR SERVICES", INCLUDING ANY KNOWN SUBSIDIARIES OR AFFILIATES.  THIS MUST BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO
