Integrated Pest Management ServicesRFP 24029Closing Date: 04/05/2024 02:00:00 PM ETDetail: Kindly refer to the following links for documentation and/or more details. • TCHC Procurement Opportunities https://torontohousing.ca/partner-tchc/procurement-opportunities Proponents will be required to provide Integrated Pest Management Services in Toronto Community Housing Corporation (TCHC) and Toronto Seniors Housing Corporation (TSHC) occupied units, non-occupied units, common/work areas and commercial spaces for a wide variety of pests but primarily for the eradication of cockroaches, bed bugs and rodents such as mice and rats. Proponents will be required to provide both demand and preventative services. Proponents will be expected to provide innovative services and solutions in order to significantly mitigate the presence of pests in TCHC buildings. Wildlife is not exclusive to

this RFP. Interested companies who are licensed under the Ontario Ministry of Environment Pesticides Regulations, and have a documented history of providing quality services, may respond to this RFP indicating their interest in providing pest control services which are consistent with Integrated Pest Management methodologies. Interested Proponents will be required to meet all requirements and service standards highlighted in the City of Toronto Apartment’s by-law 2017. The specific role of the Pest Control Service Provider (PCSP) is to deliver services as per the scope of work outlined in this RFP using methodologies consistent with that scope and providing for a diligence of treatment including: Pest elimination in units and commercial spaces on a case-by-case basis. The target is zero tolerance of pests in TCHC housing. Prevention, elimination and monitoring of pest activity in all common areas including building exterior (as applicable). Reduction in the frequency of reactive pest control treatments in residential and commercial units. This does not imply a reduction in preventative and monitoring measures. Long term reduction in the use of pesticide products Cost – effective and diligent service delivery and follow up. Refer to Appendix A for further details. The Deliverables have be separated into groupings across TCHC and TSHC portfolios. TCHC portfolio - the actual number of units within each groups (scenario #1, #2 or #3) are expected to be distributed with a deviation of not more than 5%+/-. TSHC portfolio - the actual number of units within each group is subject to the size and types of properties within geographical areas East and West of Yonge. The work will divided into six (6) geographic groups as follows: TCHC Portfolio 2 vendors East of Yonge (1 vendor back-up for the other) 2 vendors West of Yonge (1 vendor back-up for the other) TSHC Portfolio 1 vendor East of Yonge (back-up for vendor West of Yonge) 1 vendor West of Yonge (back-up for vendor East of Yonge) The groups are further detailed under Appendix A.4 - Listing and Maps.
