RFQ for TEMPORARY WAREHOUSE LABORERS” FOR THE U.S. EMBASSY BERLIN

The purpose of this fixed price contract is to obtain services for temporary laborers to be commisioned at the warehouse and residences of the US Embassy Berlin. The prices shall include all labor, materials, insurance (see FAR 52.228-4 and 52.228-5), overhead, and profit. The Government will pay the Contractor the fixed price for services that have been satisfactorily performed. The vendor shall provide 3 skilled moving personnel with good German and / or good English oral skills, capable of lifting 50 kg weight and hand carry 30 kg of weight on his own. 8 hrs. ea 90 working days = 720 hrs. per each Total 2,160 Hours This will include servicesfor loading and offloading vehicles and assist with furnishing of Embassy Offices and Residences on a set hourly fee. Laborers will also assist Embassy warehouse team in office moves, packing, assembling/disassembling, event setups and disposals, occasionally including movement of heavy, high value and fragile items with close on-site supervision. They must work in the warehouse (Curtiusstrasse 64, 12205 Berlin) and other locations within Berlin, Leipzig and Hamburg, and will have to hand-carry furniture and appliances on stairwells. Embassy will provide transportation from and to the warehouse during working hours.Workers will be working Monday to Friday between 8:00-12:00 and 13:00-17:00 hours, except German holidays and American local holidays, unless the latter otherwise instructed.The performance period of this contract is from June 1, 2024 to September 30, 2024 with the possibility to extend until October 31, 2024.
