Repair of Universal Composite Sub Camels located at Naval Station Norfolk Pier5TRepair Overview All Repairs are planned to be performed while camels are in thewater.Camel 15• Cut off and replace existing 12” angles at top where they have delaminated• Cut off and/or clean up any UHMW that is torn off and replace above water line.• Remove any old bolts where UHMW is torn offCamel 13• Cut off and replace damaged sections of top panel• Sandwich top panel into place with solid laminate• Bond top cover plate• Cut and clean up any UHMW that is torn off above water line• Remove any old bolts where UHMW is torn off• Replace UHMW on angles at top of camel• Due to the damages sustained to this camel, we cannot provide a new cleat on thisside.Tie offs will have to be made to the lifting bar on that side.
