Added:Jun 13, 2019 1:40 amThe Air Force intends to solicit proposals from qualified vendors for a firm-fixed price contract for MFH Grounds Maintenance Services, located at Kadena Air Base and other military installation, Okinawa, Japan. The procurement is a commercial acquisition wherein the contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items and services necessary to ensure that grounds maintenance is performed at vacant and assigned units DoD Military Family Housing (MFH) units on Okinawa, Japan in a matter that will promote the growth of healthy grass, tree, shrubs, and plants and present a clean, neat, and professional appearance for the 718th Civil Engineering Squadron with contract service conducted at Kadena AB, and various other Military Installations on Okinawa, Japan.This requirement is a commercial acquisition using Commercial Acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Part 12) and will be negotiated pursuant to FAR Part 15. The proposed contract will be awarded using full and open competition with a period of performance anticipated at five (5) years, consisting of one (1) base year of twelve (12) months and four (4) one-year option periods of twelve (12) months each. The government intends to make an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Single award to the offeror that represents the best overall value, considering price and past performance.
