Buyer Contact: Tara Giles tgiles@fvutil.com 4789519900 Description: Fort Valley Utility Commission CONSULTIN GENGINEERING & DESIGNSERVICES Statements of qualifications and proposals are being requested from engineering firms with a strong record in successfully assisting local governments, utility commissions, and authorities with the implementation of Federally Funded projects and programs specific to water and wastewater infrastructure development and installation. Responding firms should be technically qualified and licensed in the State of Georgia to provide these services. The selected firm may be utilized to perform projects involving any of the following: GEFA SRF, USDA, EDA, EIP, CDBG, ARPA, and potentially others. Work to be performed could include drinking water distribution, source development, storage and treatment projects and wastewater collection and treatment projects.The Commission plans to contract for

engineering design services for one or more federally funded projects that will likely require a two-step procedure for procurement. For this reason, submitting firms should plan to provide Statements of Qualifications and, should they be shortlisted, participate in an interview process prior to selection. The interview process will be carried out over an internet conferencing platform to streamline the process for the Commission and the proposers. Information which should be submitted for our evaluation is as follows: Proposals should be received no later than 5:00 PM on 08-21-2023.
