Blythe Island Regional Park Front Gate Improvement Project IFB24-055 INVITATION FOR BID This is an invitation to submit a bid to the Glynn County Board of Commissioners for: The Board of Commissioners of Glynn County, Georgia (“the Owner”) seeks proposals from interested qualified firms to install pavement widening on Sam Coffer Road at Blythe Island Regional Park and a motorized arm gate access system to facilitate a new turnaround entrance at the park, including all the details outlined and required in the Scope of Work section. Sealed bids will be accepted and time stamped electronically via the County's e-procurement Portal ("Portal") until 1:30 pm on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 . At 2:00 PM the bids will be opened in conference room 224 located at the Harold Pate Building 1725 Reynolds Street Brunswick, GA. Additionally, the bid opening will be streamed live on the County's YouTube channels. Instructions for preparation and submission of a bid-proposal are contained in this packet.
Bids must be typed or printed in ink. Bids submitted for this invitation must include the "Bidders Response Schedule" and be returned online via the Portal. Bids may not be considered unless so received. There will be a Non-Mandatory pre-bid meeting for this project held on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 9:00 am at Blythe Island Regional Park 6616 Blythe Island Highway, Brunswick GA 31523. Meeting will take place at new gate proposed location. . Any questions and /or misunderstandings that may arise from this invitation shall be submitted in writing via the e-Procurement Portal no later than Wednesday, May 8, 2024 . All Questions and Answers submitted will be posted to the website no later than Wednesday, May 15, 2024 . All questions are required to be submitted in written form. Answers to questions submitted that materially change the conditions and specifications of this invitation for bid will be promulgated to all addressees as an addendum. Any discussions or documents will be considered non-binding unless incorporated and promulgated in an addendum. All contact concerning this solicitation shall be made through the Procurement Officer. Bidders shall not contact County employees, Department Heads, Evaluation Committee Members or Elected Officials with questions or any other concerns about the solicitation.
