Z--Repair Fence Project Naval Submarine Base Groton New London, CT.

The objective of this project is to repair old and damaged fence and gates at the Railroad corridor with new fence and gates. The tasks to obtain this objective are following: 1: Install or replace security fence along the secured corridor where the railroad traverses the base to provide required security level. 2: Remove high fence where not required and replace it with standard 7’ high security fence. Replace high fence with high fence where the fence is required to be high and is in poor condition. Replace low fence with low fence where the fence is in poor condition or leaning. 3: Remove gates 6, 8 and Bard Road gate and replace with swing gates and replace gate 2 with sliding gate. 4: Remove existing gate 4 and replace it with standard 7’ high security fence. 5: Remove trees in Golf Course area and plant new trees at other location.
