An Industry Day for the Middle School Construction and Renovation at Fort Campbell, KY will be held on 28 May 2020 at 10:00AM Eastern Standard Time (EST). The Industry Day will be held virtually and the slides and ProjNet Instructions (for questions) will be posted after the conclusion of the virtual industry day. The webex application will open up for participants to log in at 9:30am ETPROJECT DESCRIPTION:This project is for the construction of a middle school by renovations and additions to convert the existing Fort Campbell High School into Fort Campbell Middle School, at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. The new construction element is approximately 126,000 SF and the renovation element is approximately 41,000 SF for a total of 167,000 SF. There is also approximately 69,000 SF of demolition work. The project shall comply with current DoDEA 21C Facility Requirements to include general purpose classrooms, gymnasium, auditorium, information center, computer lab, cafeteria/food service/kitchen, supply areas, specialist rooms, music room, art room, learning impaired room, neighborhoods, learning hubs, teacher work rooms, counseling areas, storage, administrative offices, and other required areas for a fully functioning facility and school complex. Project includes related infrastructure such as parking areas, mechanical rooms, delivery areas, storage, and lighting. Site improvements include signage, fencing, paving, landscaping, covered walkways, exterior lighting and utilities. This proposed project is a design-bid-build project.The Government anticipates releasing the solicitation Summer of FY 2020.
