NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC AND REQUEST FOR INFORMATION LAS 33098ALASKA HELICOPTER TOURS Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Southcentral Regional Land Office has received an application for the following:APPLICANT: ALASKA HELICOPTER TOURS PROJECT NAME: LAS 33098GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Approximately 2 miles due east of Lake George on an unnamed snow field near Gannet Glacier.LEGAL DESCRIPTION: A one-acre area of the Southeast 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of section 33, Township 14 south, Range 6 EastREQUESTED ACTIVITY: To amend their existing permit to add three 20' domes for tourism camping in addition to their existing seasonal dog sled camp on an unnamed snow field between Lake George and Gannet Glacier.PROPOSED DATES OF USE:Start: March 1, 2020End: September 30, 2024DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: November 5, 2020 The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity.
