The Sangamon County Jail’s average daily population was 327 inmates in 2022 (approximately 290 cells). Call volumes are approximately 19,750 per month for a total of 195,000 minutes. VENDOR INSTRUCTIONS 1. INTRODUCTION You are invited to provide a comprehensive, Inmate Telephone Services, Video Visitation Services solution and Educational Services (via Tablet). This Request for Proposal (RFP) sets forth the overall scope of products and services desired, software functionality desired, and vendor qualifications desired. 2. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS Inmate Telephone Services Required:  Provide stainless steel inmate telephones + 1 TDD/TTY device (all equipment provided by the vendor should comply with ADA guidelines); currently, 46 inmate telephones, 12 hands free inmate telephones, 1 visitation pair (2 handsets), and 1 lobby phone.  1 workstation with printer + unlimited user licenses  The awarded provider must provide all maintenance and repair on the equipment (the County will maintain the in-house wiring after initial wire setup provided by awarded vendor, state/federal compliant) throughout the contract term, including any extensions or renewals.  Training on the system for all facility users as requested by Sangamon County.  Free, regular software upgrades throughout the contract term, including any extensions or renewals.  24 x 7 x 365 live, U.S. based service for all called parties and facility staff  Online storage of all call recordings and call data for the entire contract duration, plus any required retention period
