1. This project is presented in joint cooperation of the City of Westminster (City) and the City and Country of Broomfield (County). Upon project completion the County shall operate and maintain the traffic signal.
2. This project consists of the furnish and install of new traffic signal poles, mast arms, luminaire arms, 2070 Traffic Signal Controller/Cabinet, signal heads, pedestrian heads, pedestrian push buttons, Opticom

receivers, meter pedestal, video detection cameras, underground conduits and associated wiring and equipment to the standards and specifications of the City and County of Broomfield. The bid price submitted shall include all the equipment and materials and labor to complete a fully functional traffic signal.
3. Inspection of the completed traffic signal shall be approved by the City and the County. County staff shall have the final determination for all inspection requirements.
4. Please insure that the Xcel Energy’s Builders Call Line Meter Application designates that the County will be responsible for the electrical energy charges.
5. Contractor to request and pay Xcel Energy direct for the electrical service and four (4) LED Luminaires (200 watt HPS equivalents) and shall be reimbursed by the Force Account pay item.
