Issuing agency:County of Santa Clara, CASee other Bids by this agency Issuing department:ROADS DEPARTMENTSee other Bids by this department Description: This Job Order Contract (JOC) is an indefinite quantity contract pursuant to which the Contractor will perform a variety of projects, consisting of specific construction tasks, at various locations within the County. This JOC Contract is for road maintenance repair and other repetitive related work to be performed for the County of Santa Clara Roads and Airports Department. The County has published a Construction Task Catalog (CTC) containing a series of construction tasks with preset Unit Prices. All Unit Prices are based on local labor at the current prevailing wage rates, material and equipment prices. The scope of Work for this Contract will be determined by the Detailed Scope of Work issued in connection with individual Job Orders. The Contractor furnishes all management, documentation, labor, materials, and equipment needed to

perform the work. The Job Order(s) issued pursuant to this solicitation will have, in aggregate, a minimum value of $50,000 and a maximum value of $3,000,000 with an option to increase the maximum contract value in the amount of $1,000,000 for a total maximum contract value of $4,000,000. A mandatory prequalification conference will be held on January 10, 2023, at 10AM PST (Pacific Standard Time) at 101 Skyport Drive, Training Room (Note: due to Covid-19 Orders the Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference may be hosted via virtual Zoom or Teams platform), San Jose, CA 95110, for the purpose of discussing the prequalification questionnaire, questionnaire rating system, contractor’s viewpoint and answering questions, and submission of completed questionnaire package. All Contractors who intend to submit the Prequalification Questionnaire must sign in at the conference. The County’s intention is to bid Job Order Contract: RAD-2022-01 shortly after the pool of prequalified contractors is selected. The prequalified contractors list will be valid for one year. The ITB (Invitation to Bid) will follow the RFSQ and be sent directly to those who qualify under the prequalification process. The current bid close for the ITB is February 23, 2023.
