ANC Sanitary Sewer Repairs

For Arlington National Cemetery (ANC), repair sanitary sewer drain pipes and manholes. Repair work shall consist of: replacement of pipes using the Open Cut replacement methods, performing pre and post construction CCTV, cleaning and removing obstructions, grouting, installing manholes at blind tap connections, raising manhole top to ground surface level (for existing buried manholes) as indicated on the drawings. After all necessary preparations and repairs are completed, the pipe network and manholes shall be rehabilitated utilizing commercial trenchless technology, such as cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) and pipe bursting/splitting methods. Manholes shall be rehabilitated by applying approved epoxy coatings and installation of new manholes. By-pass service shall be required when any segment of the sewer line is put out of service due to construction
