Scope of Services The Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) is requesting proposals for the purpose of establishing one or more contracts for the purchase of EMS Supplies, as specified herein. These EMS Supplies will be ordered on an as-needed basis to supply the OCFA Emergency Medical Services division, and also to restock the Federal Emergency Management Agency Urban Search and Rescue Cache. OCFA is seeking a collaborative partner that will support the delivery of prehospital emergency medical care. The supplier will work with OCFA to find creative solutions to manage issues such as supply shortages, unexpected high use, expirations, and other challenges. Orders will be placed throughout the term of the contract by various OCFA personnel. Most orders will be routine in nature, and will be delivered to an OCFA facility. Occasionally, OCFA may also need to place an emergency order that must be ready for pickup by an OCFA employee at the supplier facility within four hours. - Other Details Federal Emergency Management Agency financial assistance will be used to fund a portion of the awarded contract.
