Pursuant to FAR Subpart 5.2 - Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions, this is a notice of a proposed modification to an existing contract that does not provide for fair opportunity in accordance with FAR Subpart 16.505(b).The Department of State (DOS), Office of Acquisition Management, Diplomatic Security Contracts Division, Security Branch, on behalf of DOS, Bureau of Diplomatic Security, Office of the Chief Technology Officer, intends to negotiate and award a modification to the Network Engineering Services Task order (HHSN316201200025W/ 19AQMM21F2407). The period of performance for the task order ends on 12/31/2023. This modification will extend the period of performance through 03/31/2024. There are no other changes to the task order.Description of the RequirementTo provide continued support and integrated activities with a team of skill technical resources reporting to DS/CTO that are embedded with the IRM/ENM office. This team of cleared technical specialist and managers will: 1)
sustain engineering and Tier III support for existing DS/CTO IT resources, 2) implement additional enhancements that will ensure highly available, secure operations for critical DS/CTO business applications and 3) facilitate moves of such systems to Cloud based infrastructures; support ot or current DoS datacenters, where required. to provide continued support and integrated activities with a team of skill technical resources reporting to DS/CTO that are embedded with the IRM/ENM office. The response also must include the contractor's Unique Entity ID (UEI), contact information, and business size. All offerors must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (sam.gov).A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responses must be received no later than December 22, 2023 at 1:00 pm EST.Responses must be submitted electronically to Sara Marron, Contracting Officer, at MarronSM2@state.gov and Sharon Otto, Contract Specialist, at OttoSL@state.gov.
