REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS SCADA System Master Plan Status: Open Due Date: May 2, 2024 at 2:00 pm Bid Package: View SCADA RFP > The Sunrise Water Authority (Sunrise) is seeking to hire a professional engineering firm (or team) to develop a comprehensive supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) master plan. Sunrise serves a population of more than 50,000 residents located across the City of Happy Valley and surrounding areas of unincorporated Clackamas County. The water distribution network includes more than 255 miles of pipes, 14 reservoirs, and 16 pump stations and is remotely monitored and operated through an existing SCADA system. That system has reached its useful life and requires comprehensive upgrading and replacement to meet current and future operational demands, reliability and security. This master plan shall outline recommended improvements, including cost estimates for new equipment and software purchases and related implementation. We are also interested in investigating a variety of remote monitoring options, including third-party providers, along with advanced operational control using digital-twin and other advanced HMI technology. Qualified firms or teams should have Oregon licensed, professional engineers with expertise in instrumentation and control for water distribution networks and be able to demonstrate relevant experience and knowledge in this field of expertise.
